Career Coaching at Georgetown District High School

Another meaningful milestone in my journey as a career coach—this time at Georgetown District High School, where I had the opportunity to connect with Grade 9 and 10 students through HIEC’s Ontario Career Labs initiative on May 5 and 6, 2025.

These one-on-one and small group conversations gave students the space to explore questions about real-world careers, industry trends, and personal growth. Many were just beginning to think about their paths, and it was a privilege to offer guidance, encouragement, and insight based on my own professional journey.
Even the quietest students were deeply engaged, listening, reflecting, and beginning to envision possibilities. It reminded me that it’s not always about loud conversations—it’s about honest, supportive connections that plant seeds of curiosity and confidence.
