Empowering the Next Generation – Career Coaching at Acton Secondary

On April 29th, I had the pleasure of joining Ontario Career Labs at Acton Secondary School for an engaging session with Grade 9 and 10 students. As a career coach, it’s always a rewarding experience to share real-world stories, explore career pathways, and encourage students as they begin shaping their futures.

With over 75 students in attendance, the event was filled with meaningful conversations, thoughtful questions, and plenty of curiosity. These early career conversations are such a powerful way to open doors and spark new ideas for young minds just starting their journey.
